The D.Brant Hymac 590C in the black and white picture (page 284 of this thread, post number 2838) still exists.
My late father bought it in the mid 1980s to use for car dismantling.
It's still in the yard, but been out of action for a while now.
The hydraulic hammer in the picture didn't do the boom much good, somebody had to repair some cracking.

Yes it is indeed, I think railway people referred to it as "blood and custard"

I'm not convinced about that crawler, but what was officially crimson and cream (for express coaching stock, suburban stock had plain crimson) did quickly become blood and custard to the average railway enthusiast (due to how the crimson weathered in the sun). The pic is however a bit late for these colours as can be seen from the loco nearby (looks like an English Electric to me, in late BR green).
Good to see a JCB 3 too.
