In the first pic, I wonder if that was the place they were told to tip the bins "Just chuck it in 't river"?

Love the photo of the garage with the Commer commercials in it, bet it didn't stay that clean for very long.

Where is that bridge in the first pic? just answered me own question, it's the then new metro bridge over the Tyne.
