Great pics Steve the first two with a Hymac 480 and a 580 the eighth photo of the Poclain first generation machines; I think left to right, GC120, RC200 and SC150.
Can anybody identify what looks like a Fordson skid backhoe loader in the photo beneath, it looks very Muir Hill or Chaside to me?

It is a Weatherill 2H , unusual on two counts -it has a backhoe (which looks like a Sherman) and most odd it has an overloader front loader that can discharge at the rear , over the backhoe !

The backhoe is a Weatherill 4HTW with Sherman trencher which is removed when the loader is used as an overloader. It may have been part of an order for 4HTW and 2HHCR hight tip aslo fitted with Sherman trencher machines for the MOD these where made right at the end of these models as Ford phased out the Major skid unit.

Some good pictures there Steve. The JCB 3C (is it C?) looks pristine, must have been nearly new. The Dodge tipper reminds me of Dad's D reg one but it was dropside under floor rams. The dozer climbing the tip bank seems a bit odd?

Pete I think the JCB is the first 3C model, the mk1; the 360 in the first photo is a Richier machine made in France (I think)
