Took this Photo back in 1995 in H.E. Services yard at Strood in Kent, it was the first machine to go to the Dublin branch ... the H.E.badge on the Samsung is green.

Great pics as allways
MJ Rolls shifted a D8 for me from Huntington up to Warrington in about 2002.Are they still trading?I think I can remember the driver saying they were winding down but I can't really be sure.In the 1990's I used a recovery wrecker to shift four scraper boxes from Gretna Green upto Lockerbie and to Elvanfoot.I was worried about the wheel bearings getting hot so packed them with the grease gun. They didn't take any harm.
Shanks McEwan once hired Johnston's of Carlilse to shift two of my D8's with blades on one truck!I didn't have my camera though :(

MJ Rolls were bought up by Hallett Silbermann's a few years back...they did trade as part of the group but now all trace has gone

This Scammell S26 was destined for the overseas market -hence the left hand drive and roof mounted Kysor air-conditioning unit, but ended up in the Hills of Botley(near Southampton) fleet.
