It looks like the wheeled dozer in the first picture is a Hough D500 without the cab.

Quite a lot about Hough here. Way ahead of UK manufacturers in the late 30s through to the 50s. Seemed slow adopting artic steering but I have an idea that may have been due to patents, at least in part.

Love the LAD cab Dodge rescue :thumbup: bet that was a brown underpants job for the driver.

Wet or icy Road? I remember Dad telling me how he spun an empty swb Dodge tipper around in the road to face the other way. He was genuinely a careful driver.
