For sale - Adjustable ball hitch plate

Post #1 by hair bear » Mon Nov 15, 2021 8:58 pm

I have 3 halves of an adjustable height hitch plate. The vehicle half is a Dixon Bate 202090. one unidentified hitch half has one pin for the height adjustment and 2 locations for the ball, the other unidentified piece has two pins for the height adjustment and 3 locations for the ball.

Any use to anyone? Located near Aldershot, Hampshire.

Sounds like the typical Land Rover job, with the 'ladder' like part (about 200mm long?) that bolts to the rear cross member and then drop plates that slide on it for the ball/nato hitches

How much do you want for it Rob?

Well, I don't know what of it is actually usable so if you want it you're more than welcome to it!
Not sure how to get it to you though...

I'm sure I can make use of it :)

I live in Tadley (just north of Basingstoke) during the working week, so Aldershot isn't far, easy enough for me to pop down one evening if you're about?

Thanks again for the drop plate and associated mounting hardware Rob

Was good to meet you too and chew the cud about all things infernal combustion, sorry to have kept you outside and away from your Mrs, hope she's feeling better soon!

No doubt we'll meet up again sometime!
