Re: CAT D7 FOR SALE
Nice one Clive that will pay for a nice conservatory! What is the new project going to be then. I am going to sell my MF40 this year and get something else, that D7 would be ideal for pushing our muck heap up every couple of weeks!

Go on John, you can pull a 20 furrow plough behind that and clear you yard of snow in winter!

Re: CAT D7 FOR SALE
oh heck mate .I know you've been thinking about parting company with it which is heartbreaking as I know it's a good unit. You have spent a fair pile of greenbacks on it too but the work just isn't there for it so it's dead money lying around. You know plenty of people with D8's lying around incase you need to hire in some extra muscle so flogging it makes sence. You could get a D6M with the money perhaps and get plenty of work for it.I only run D8's these days because I like them and manage to make a small profit out of them. The D4/D5 and D6 tractors have allways made more profit for much less hassle but the work I have these days requires the weight and power of D8's but when the posting.php?mode=reply&f=45&t=10060#current job ends, the D8's will be sold. The problem is........the job was for a couple of weeks.........six years ago!!
Good luck on selling it.A local contractor to me had two of them like yours but were lgp's.He sold them without problem a few years ago and he's not known for giving kit away
