Lawsons of Cockermouth LTM1160

Post #1 by birdman » Sun Feb 07, 2010 4:36 pm

One of Lawson's fine looking cranes arrived on my site last week, to me this is one of the best paint jobs out there, makes a change from yellow or red and black ;) ;)

Hope you enjoy

That is a nice colour scheme. Looks like the lift side of Eddie Stobarts.

Red and green should never be seen is surely a phrase originally with a nautical connection, ships having a red light for the port navigation light and a green light for the starboard navigation light, if you can see both together the ship is coming straight for you on a collision course!

Stephen

Is it just me or does that paint scheme have a hint of narrow boat about it???

Still looks good though! maybe needs a few horse brasses on it to finish it off!

Think it may be a bit too wide for the cut Stuart  To be fair I think it looks okay, certainly makes a change from the bog standard yellow.
