from time to time i get to operate a GROVE/COLES AP415 very similar to the jones iron fairy . they are a great little crane to operate
a recent job i was on had me picking and carying parts of an industrial bailing machine inside a building where it was to be assembled,
the biggest wheighing 7 tons, and due to its size i had to do this over the side of the crane , she never even flinched !!!!

Well since this thread is already here, didn't seem much point in creating a new one. I've just got back from a short break to Southampton and snapped this Jones yard crane which looks to be in pretty good shape.

No doubt they produced loads of models of this type so a model ID is nearly impossible? The last Jones crane I saw was a crawler one which was over a decade ago at least.

Hmm Whitlock had a very similar looking rig called the 7T. A direct competitor perhaps to this vehicle?

Hi, we have a "Jones Crane" model KL22 crane that is still working!
Please watch this film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J39ockiY65w and the attached photos.
I didn't find the document in the (http://www.topforge.co.uk) website.
Please send me (or upload to this site) that document.
Best regards,
Nitzan

Wonderful to see an earlier model of a Jones crane still working. They were no doubt built to last.
