What is this ?
Pass this old tractor almost every week and often wondered what it is. It is located in the driveway of an old farm in Ontario, Canada. Any ideas ?

To me it appears to be a light steam tractor. But as to make US or Canadian in style not British. Make may be cast int wheel centres or smoke box dor locking wheel or a plate on boiler or cylinder

Looks similar to a steam tractor I saw at Euro Disney a few years back, Case ? Will see if I can find the photo.

Light steam tractor of some sort, definitely USA origin. Dont think its Case, looks unusual, a very small diamter boiler, could be rare. best place to get an answer will be on Smokestak website, http://www.smokstak.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=7
I am intrigued.

'Traction-Talk' for the UK. There will be about 10 people who will know the entire history of the thing!
To my mind it looks more like a portable engine as I can't see any motion work from the crank to the hind wheels?
Julian.

Re: What is this ?
Think we need some more closer photos as looks odd for a tractor, but appears to have stearing gear, but also dosent look like a portable either. Boiler has the look of a gas cylinder/tank and weres the cylinder and motion mounted ?
