Millmaster loader

I am about to restorse an IH 474 with a Millmaster loader, was wondering does anybody know were there any decals fitted to these new? Mine is yellow would this be the correct colour?

Only ones I have seen are red. I may have a photo of one on file.I would try google images for a I H 474.

As far as I know Milmaster loaders were finished in yellow- someone has painted it to match the tractor possibly. My uncle bought one in the sixties to fit a blue/grey major thats how I know

Hold on there !! the red colour for the loader may be correct as the loaders were sold as the IH 1001 loader and decalled with IH decals.

Well mine is painted yellow, i suppose jcb yellow would be good enough ! Was there any decals fitted to these??

Don't forget some people bought the tractor and fitted a loader to it later so both colours are correct and if the loader is yellow keep it that. There's bound to be a serial number plate as well.

If you have not painted yey feathering a small area with a piece of emery should show up the paint layers.
