Great pictures, Dave. Thanks for posting.
The Yellow Iron from Meltham (Yorkshire) is either a T30 (Petrol Parrafin) or TD30 (Diesel), I can't imagine why anyone would want to paint it yellow rather than 'Hunting Pink'.
The Red iron from Meltham (Yorkshire) in the next picture is a very rare DB4 which is a copy (legitimate) of the Cat D4, but with all the thread sizes changed to imperial from US. Only approx 110 of these were made.

Thanks John for identifying them,
I was unsure of the models as I didn't have a show catalogue and they all look very similar. :?
Yes my DB book says DB4 only 110 made (probably).

The Scammell has a no nonsense look about them, plenty of them at Dorset last year. I'll post a few when Im going through the Dorset collection (about 800 photos) to upload else ware, as a lot are on the other pc.

In of on any known Crawlers tractors in preservation with a s/n to identify them is appreciated, to expand the list of known machines. (Bristol, Cat, DB, Fowler, TM, etc) Unfortunately when i took most of those i didn't get the s/n's :( (But i hadn't become a full on Plant spotter ) Show catalogues usually list the Steam engines sn and car & truck reg nos., but a lot don't yet list the other vehicles details

Thanks for appreciative comments, :)

Dave

Thanks Kigg and Welcome to CMN.

Interesting Machine you have there. Not seen one exactly like that but have seen them built on a wheeled dumper chassis. Looks like a custom conversion based on a Japanese Crawler Dumper chassis ( Moororka ? or similar name). you can see the seat flips for driving it either way. The hammer looks a substantial weight unit.

Colchester Tillage i think it is import used ones and rebuild them for UK market. Else were on here there was a pipeline welding rig built on a large one with a crane abit back.

At SED plant show there were several Crushers and other machines based on used chassis or using the track assemblies used in them. There was a British firm with a Jap sounding name (Hinowa) selling a selection of small forklifts and small tool carrier platforms based on the principle but built in Italy i' think it was.

it was built from an old yanma C30 tracked dumper. An extra oil tank from a hegde trimmer was put on to power the 360kg post rammer which is mounted on old 3 point linkage. this machine is an amazing thing when it comes fencing on the rough or steep groud of devon.
