Hi Everyone,
We have been looking at an old Lamborghini 854 tractor today which we are possibly going to buy for use by my Wife at our horse yard.
As you will see from the photos it is not very pleasant to look at but it is mechanically sound, the tractor will not be required to work to hard and will only usually be used at weekends on light dutys like taking muck to the muck heap and distributing haylage and feed to horses in the fields so we think it will probably be ok for us.
Just thought I would ask fellow members for any advice about this old tractor, anybody know much about them
I know nothing much about tractors
Nick

Its not old enough Nick!
Got to be a Fergie all the way, TE20, for the retro farming experience!
A friend of mine just purchased a Fergie for exactly the same purpose as yourself, and it does the job a treat, will power a pasture topper no problem, plenty of cheap attachments availiable for the back, parts are easy to get hold of and are reasonably priced.
No cab though......
Can get a good TED20 1948 vintage for about £1000.......
Just my thoughts on the matter!

Re: Lamborghini 854 Tractor
I owned a TED20 for a number of years, great little tractor with a good turn of speed on the road. Also what SRB said, lots of impliments and cheap spares.I think the Fordson E1A Majors take some beating, very good starters in all weathers.Fully "air con" as well.
I have done a fair bit on David Browns, their drawbacks were the horrible brake set up on some models.
