I have no idea about the tractor but there could be any number of reasons. Have you just got the tractor or has it suddenly developed an apparent fault?

Hi, I believe the blunt end of an 8N is very similar to a grey. So...
1, is the pto in gear? The pump only runs with the pto in gear.
2, How much oil does it have? The gearbox, back axle, hydraulics share about 5 gallons (from memory!).
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.
