Hi,
I have a large tip-up trailer, and there isn't enough oil in the transmission to fully tip the trailer. Is it ok to fill the transmission over the mark that says "sollevatore"? How much?
Thanks

Tricky one you could do with that question to someone who knows. Quite common place on some models of tractors particularly when stepping up to twin rams. You might end up with some unwanted leaks. It is definitely drawing out of the transmission and not a separate tank? Thinking about it it probably might depend, if transmission source, on the internal dimensions of a transmission. A layout spread over a large surface area might mean a few extra litres only raise the level by a small amount. On the other hand a deep or compact transmission might mean a few litres raise the level to an unacceptable level. If that makes sense. Make sure to use the correct type of oil for the transmission.
What you could try is a adding a small quantity of oil at a time to just get the trailer tipped. Sometimes just the tractor laying up or down hill can make a difference.
