B414 Hand Throttle Removal

Post #1 by B414_Captain » Fri Feb 26, 2016 2:44 pm

I'm in the process of removing the fuel tank on the B414 diesel to gain access to the steering box. The shop manual says disconnect the lower link on the hand throttle lever in order to pull the lever out thru the tunnel on the fuel tank. Would anyone be able to give an idea of how to access the lower link of the lever. Thanks in advance.
Ps - sorry This is a duplicate post. I posted to the wrong category by mistake last night.

If you look under the tank you should see it, the hand lever goes into a hole in the steering box, Flick it off with a screwdriver. Then its just the two bolts at the top behind dash, be carful with oil gauge pipe. Good luck

Great thank you so much. Found it and Got it flicked off with a screwdriver. So far oil pressure line still in tact.
