my international B275 tractor
here's my international B275 tractor. i dated it to about 1958. my dad gave it to me. runs like a charm, starts right away winter or spring. i like this machine and have been slowly piece by piece cleaning/painting and making sure everything is ok with it, preventative maintenance = love. they just don't make em this tough and good anymore. i use it for snow plowing and grass cuttin.

Re: my international B275 tractor
They are a lovely little tractor. I had a B-250 diesel and the live PTO on your B-275 is a major improvement, especially when using a rotary cutter. Unfortunately, mine developed the rather common problem of cylinder head and block cracks and was not worth the expense of repairing. I replaced it with a David Brown 950 (and later a second David Brown 950). Not as small and tidy as the B-250 but I appreciate the extra power when mowing brush. Nice little tractor - continue to enjoy it!

here are some pics of the white primer and blue color i put on the IH-275... she's looking good and running like a charm... purrs like a kitten on idle... redid the electrical and cleaned the carbs... lots of cleaning... now i got to remove the paint tape and paint all the important parts and do the touch up's.

Re: my international B275 tractor
Hey guys I just picked up a b275 gas as well I am looking to restore its glory as well! I am brand new to tractors and am just changing the fluids etc. Question: I replaced the oil filter and drained the oil now where do I fill it up? Also the oil pan has a good dent in it. Should I remove the case/pan and try to hammer it out. Any specific things I should be dong right away to maintain its life? thanks in advance for the advise, I have already found this forum to be a great resource. All the best!
