Does anybody when the changes occured in the UK D5B's SA that were when the windscreens changed and the cab shape and why they changed or what else changed
Paul
In the first two photos the windscreen looks like a full width windscreen with a vee shape to it
The second two photos have full width windscreen with a rectangular shape and a different style cab

My guess is that the first 2 are with a modular ROPS cab, the second 2 have a standard cab.

Re: changes in Cat D 5 B SA VHP
apparently the first 2 are a standard ROPS cab from Cat and the second 2 are known as soft cabs made by Leverton's or at least this is what I have been told only this morning
I wonder if these were offered at the same time ?
Also wonder if the linkage was made by Leverton's as well as the cab ?
The soft cabs look like a bigger cab than the Cat ROPS cab's or maybe its just the way Im looking at it
interested in any thoughts as I am trying to buy one of these to get sent out to Australia for on my farm and am just trying to get a good under standing of whats what with these crawlers
Thanks in advance
