I used universal farm hydraulic oil. I went to TSC last night and they don't know what HY Tran is? I still don't know which oil to add to my hydraulics. I think that I have determined that the trans and hyd are on separate reservoirs.

All that matters is the viscosity really. Being separate compartments and the brakes are dry and not wet brakes, you really can use any suitable hydraulic oil you want.

Really, IMO, you could grab a cheap no name brand of 10w30 motor oil from the local grocery store and add it in and not expect any issues whatsoever.

Okay I called the international dealer today and they explained any universal hydraulic fluid would work. Hy Tran is just their brand. The transmission and rear diff also take the same fluid.

I'll create a new post for the clutch.
