I thought I would give the old Fordson a start today as I am now well and fit enough now to give it a swing.Filled up with water, put some petrol in the tank, cleaned up the points.I was amazed to find that it fired up second swing after it had not been run for 8 months !
I may take it out for a drive next week as she is taxed for the road.

Re: 1943 Fordson standard
I have had this one 17 years now and has been to many events.I have drivern it to Cardiff a few times,it took two hours.
Even the late great Fred Dibnah has drivern my Fordson when he came to our rally in 1997.
This machine worked in the South Molton area of Devon during WW2I have used the pulley to Drive a Nickleson bailer at one rally.
