Hi Martyn,
It's not an IH grader .
It's a "Hamilton Grader" with an IH tractor providing the power unit.
I think these were made under licence in the UK by Allens of Oxford.
Allens also made Parsons trenchers and Michigan excavators under licence.

The tractor part looks like the IH Farmall M or H series. The M was a 6 cylinder, the H quite a bit smaller, not sure on how many cylinders.
The M and the Super M were very popular as farm tractors, I think capable of a 4 bottom plow. The H was a light duty tractor, probably a 2 bottom plow.

Hi Martyn,
I had a good look at the tractor in the pics., and it must be either a Farmall Super BMD, AMD, or MD, depending on whether it's British, Austrailian or American built.
If it is, it will have the BD 264 engine,50 or 50.5 hp. like the BTD6, or the earlier 40 hp. version of that engine. It certainly looks like it in the pictures.
The Farmall M is the only model I can recall having the elongated holes in the side members for attatchment of mid mounted implements.
