hello deas ,thnk you for the info ,here is some more info about the grader ,bruce oz

Authentic parts were used wherever possible. The back wheels are on the drive axle and the forward set of wheels are on spindles and driven via chain by the back wheels. It did a good pull later in the day.

I remember one similar to that when I was young a kid growing up in a mining camp in Nevada. One thing I do recall about it was that it smelled like ether. .

That thing may have RUN on ether for the first 20 - 30 seconds each day too.
