Hi Tone, I had the same problem, and I used Microsoft Office Picture manager which came with my computer. Load the file then go to /Pictures/Compress Pictures...Select web pages (email messages gives the really small 'thumb nails'). The target file size iis displayed...

Tony,

I always work with Microsoft Picture Manager.....have attempted to show the steps in this pic

See if it helps

Anything around 80 > 150 kb seems good enough for posting on forums. But I usually save the original at the full pixel size in case I want to print it or do other things later

Good to see you back, Nick.

Had much rain up there in Halwill???.....If not I could send a few bucketfuls up from here....no end to the blinkin' stuff....you'll need LGP tracks on your excavator to travel

Hi Richard,

Yes this rain is something else, been working down in Dawlish last day on site at Aller Hill tomorrow!! the forecast is not good at all for the next few days and possibly into next week!! :(

Hi Tone,

I believe unless I'm mistaken that pic sizes need to be 160kb or less to post on this site, I have had to resize some of my pics to post them.
I use Paintshop Pro to resize my pics and I generally resize them % wise and then re-check the file size.

Regards,

Jeremy
