I was surprised when i got up to go as well when i saw the road covered over completly -so went back to bed after looking at weather report and it showing snow right across to the wash :(

Was just a bad frost at 1:30 this morning

No sign of any snow ploughs :arrrrgh: and virtualy no traffic till 9 ish on the road here, but by 11 it was starting to get clear tracks, but a bit too late to bother going now.

Well upon returning home at 4am (don't ask) there were nothing more than a few frosty cars, I woke up this morning to find a good 3 inches on the stuff. Kind of put a downer on my day as I wanted to get to spalding to. Like Joe said not worth risking even if the roads clear round here I dread to think what Lincoln is like. Wonder how many people will actually get there?

Like Dave said not gritters or plows to be seen We pay tax for....................?

We should not complain too much when you look at those mud slides out on Maderia on the telly.

Bt if it melts as fast as it appears we may have localised flooding :(

Had brightened up but now trying to snow again . :dizzy:

I'd got up early, as its not the quickest place to get to, and was expecting to have to de Ice the car first. ;)

Just seen a gritter now and it was not working, just traveling :o
Radio was saying M1 was 1 1/2 > 2 lane only earlier
