Re: Motor Bikes
Best thread ever!
No pictures for now but I have those:
Bimota KB1. No engine but a Kaw GPZ1100 with 1428 cc is being built since many years.
Harris Magnum II. Suz 1100 cc engine. Bought it as it is now, it doesn´t start but it´s probably not that much job to get it running.
Suzuki Katana -82 with 1168 cc engine with turbo. Waiting (since several years) for new bigger oil cooler and new bigger intercooler.
As Jeremy knows I´ve had quite a lot of bikes before, here´s a few that I really liked:
Suzuki TL1000R late nineties. Oh what an engine!
Honda VFR 750 late eighties. Nothing is perfect on those. But everything is really, really very good.
Yamaha FZR 1000 early nineties. Smooth engine. Decent handling. Comfortable for a sports bike.
And some that I didn´t like that much:
Suzuki GSX-R 750 -96. Much to peaky engine. No "grunt" at all at low revs. But excellent brakes and chassie.
Kaw KLR 650. No power at all.
Yamaha RD350. Extremely dangerous bike. To easy to drive fast.
Some bikes that I´ve driven but not had myself, those gave me one or another kind of "interesting" experience:
Yamaha RD500. Not as dangeorus as the 350 as it gives more respect.
Husqvarna 610. Strictly business with an engine that no one can ignore.
Honda CBX 6-cylinder. Big, clumsy, dangerous handling (if any at all). But what a song from that engine!

Re: Motor Bikes
Hi Ross,
Well oops to say the least yeh bin there done that got the tee shirt, bruises, bashed ego and bashed wallet etc...
Ive been a biker since 1981 and started life on a 250 wetdream er I mean superdream lets face it someone had to.
When summertime comes me and a few mates meet up at Bassetts Pole to see all the bikes and nutters that come with em.
See if I can post some more piccies, Robban mentioned a CBX well I owned this for a short while, lets just say you could turn heads and deafen people at the same time
The guy on the ZX makes this look easy lets just say I let others do this kind of stuff.
