Good films

Post #1 by RichardJW~ » Sat Jul 25, 2009 9:53 pm

Looking for your recommendations for some good comedy & horror dvds

For horror I already have SAW trilogy & Hostel, looking for similar

Then comedy (aside from the BBC '70s>early '90s) along the lines of that Yanky 'Road-trip' thing - heard Snakes on a Plane is supposed to be good.....any more suggestions?

Try the Ring and Ring2, they are not bad Richard, although the first one is slightly better ..then the Grudge, and grudge two, both not bad
Comedy, try a black comedy like the film Bruges ... Jim Careys film Yes is not bad, not as good as Liar Lair

You cant beat Superbad and Anchorman! Both quality films! On the other hand im a big fan of WW2 and any other war film really! Recently watched We were soldiers and that was awesome! Cant beat Football Factory and snatch though too!

I'm not in to horror much but comedy is most of my DVD collection. It depends on what you like and find funny. As Joes1989 said Anchorman is just funny, Dodgeball, 40 year old virgin, any Nacked gun film and Space balls. A comedy horror is Shaun of the dead.
