The Classic Machinery Network

I have been looking for the archive plant tests / reports done by writer Lawrie Tootel for Construction News in the 70s. Some were in the glossy CN magazine (monthly) & some in the centre pages of the weekly paper. CN only had an archive going back 6 months when I asked
Lawrie Tootel was still around recently (living in OZ) & had written for classic plant machinery.
I particularly wanted one of the Smalley 10 MK2 - was around March / April '75 - Test took place Derby. Sadly the mice got into the Smalley archive!!
Others I remember was Case 1150B, John Deere Era 3 crawlers, No doubt many others eg Drott, early Komatsu. I just wondered if others remembered them & if any survived?

Shame they never archived their issues on line like Commercial Motor .

I still have some construction news Magazines from the 70's one off them has a backhoe loader comparison for JCB 3C mk2, MF 50B, Hymac 370, et. They used to give away some great advertising posters too.
