Our local waste transfer station which is run by our local council in partnership with Onyx and used to allow free check weighing. Very useful if you didn't need a ticket and £25 if you did.
Discovered last week that they now charge £31 regardless of if you need a ticket or not! Better than that, they don't take cash, credit card, debit card, or transfer - only cheque!
Nothing like putting you off trying to do the right thing.

give them a cheque made of rubber that might change there attitude LOL strange only taking cheques no one deals with cheques any more much out here

It's a real pain in the chuff! The hunt is now on for a private one that is cheaper / free!
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.
