Two Lancasters today

Post #1 by topkit » Fri Aug 15, 2014 7:55 pm

So today i was one of the lucky ones to see the only two airworthy Lancasters in flight, I stopped off at Biggin Hill as i knew they were due back from the Eastbourne Air Show and it was a truly awesome sight and sound real lump in the throat time.

Thanks for the photos. Saw one Lanc fly over Southend today looked like it was heading across the Thames to Kent. Then heard another single engine merlin power flying south but not sure what it was.
