New Hyundai 360 model

Just received a few of these from the far east, The new Hyundai 215-9 in 1:40 scale nice separate link metal track pads and nice detail.

A very smart looking model there David if a somewhat unusual scale.

This is an interesting model in that it represents a Hyundai "economy" excavator built in China for poorer markets, and that simultaneously there is another 1:40 scale model available of the "full quality" version of the 210-9 (same size unit) coming out of Korea. The two are distinctly different in castings, details, packaging, etc. as you can see in the photos below. [There is also a tire-mounted 210-9 scale model currently available.]

I really wish Hyundai would go back to 1:50 scale, as their first three excavator models were quite nice despite the rubber tracks (particularly the 800).

These are not my photos as I only collect 1:50 scale unless it's a shovel or dragline.
