JCB wooden 805 Super model - where is it now?

Post #1 by Steelfab » Tue Aug 26, 2014 10:34 am

The daughter gentelmen in the attached picture who made the model back in the late 1980's has contacted JCB as she is trying to track down the whereabouts of her late fathers model he built. Apparantly he sold it many years ago but she would like to trace the whereabouts of it and buy it back?

Has anyone help with the whereabouts of it?

regards Julian

Julian
I'm pretty sure it's currently sat in J C Balls office at Ambergate.

Jason,

ironically that is my model I had made when I was 19 and sold to Balls about 8 years ago which I now regret...

Aaaaahh I see. Was it on ebay I vaguely remember seeing it on there?
I'd say give them a call they might sell it back to you but I think there's more chance of watching a stone bleed to death!
