Some 'heavy metal' photos

Post #1 by RMFurniss » Sat Sep 20, 2014 5:49 pm

Decided to have a bit of a sort out in 'storage facility #4' aka the shed, to free up some more room to get more in. thought that while I was at it, I may as well take a few snaps. I know the backdrop isn't very inspiring, but it is what it is...

RH200's - still one of my all time favourite models..

Bucyrus MT4400 Mine Truck - I've now got four of these covering three variants - Terex, Bucyrus and CAT - there was a limited run of the Bucyrus livery in a metal storage case. The lift rams on this aren't great and won't support the dump body unfortunately..

Liebherr T282's and T264's...

Finally for now, some Demag H485's, again, another of my favourites

Wow, some cash there!

Are the 200's and 485's different models in some way or did you have a plan in mind to use them differently (or sell them of course)?

I'd be interested in an RH120 is you find one in the pile!

No, they're all the same - got a very long 'to convert & detail' list which seems to get longer not shorter!.

Think I must be obsessed - I'll be on that hoarders programme next!

Yeah RH200 is my favourite model as well. The front end is real chunky.
