Post #1 by rev.chris » Mon Feb 25, 2013 6:26 pm

right, i bought myself a little dumper the other day to put in a stone track across the field, its a great little dumper an worked solid for two days with pritty much no probs, (did seem harder to start on the 2nd day and stalled a few times, but was low on diesel so hopefully that) anyway now ive finished the job i want to tidy it up an give it a good service, but unsure of the make,

also on the exhaust side of engine there is 2 small holes, ive been told to pour diesel in there before i start it so make it start easyer, is this right, as i dont want to damage engine,

many thanks for all ur comments.

Hi,
Should be a plug / plunger in those holes. They should be filled with engine oil, not diesel, for cold weather starting.
You'll need to push the plunger back into the hole to force the oil into the inlet manifold.
