Re: New Volvo A40F
Im currently driving one of chepstow plants new Volvo A40F's in a quarry at Dunbar and i can say there not as good as you'd think. The ride is hard, they still havnt put armrests/headrest on the seats, the pump for the regeneration burner on mine has broke so i've been broken down since thursday, hopefully it will be fixed when i go back tomorrow or it could be a long day!!!! Apart from that they seem alright but only time will tell

OK there earthmover 1974. The pic of that dumper i put up has gone to Dunbar . I believe its a Lafarge quarry your working in isn't it,and yes your right on every count there are a few probs with them the most being the regeneration of the exhaust system. The cab is nice though but i don't drive them. The Volvo EC700c which is up there also was working down at Imerys china clays in St.Austell, Cornwall.
