Thwaites Alldrive

Post #1 by Ridgeline Diesel » Fri Apr 05, 2024 11:57 am

Hi all,

I am working on an old dumper and could use some help identifying the model. I have been told its a 4t machine, and it has a ford 4 cyl engine. There is a clutch, forward reverse lever and a box with maybe 4 gears? There is a stencil cut into the radiator guard of ''Thwaites Alldrive"' that i haven't seen on any of the images i have looked at.

Rob

Any help would be appreciated.

On first look, it does not look that big but the fact it has a Ford 4 pot and the axles look substantial suggests it is certainly more than 3 ton model. Useful gear box set up as well. I am guess a late 70s/early 80s model?
