ED750 Ignition

Post #1 by Webs29 » Tue Jun 09, 2020 7:31 pm

It's a long shot but does anyone have a picture or wiring diagram for a Volvo Pel Job ED750? Previous owner put on a universal ignition that doesn't work correctly and so I bought one similar to this : http://www.sparkshop.co.nz/Catalogue/Product/Product/32-408

Having trouble trying to figure out what wire goes where and don't want to potentially damage anything.

Thanks

Hi Web29,
The add tells you what wire goes to which terminal. If you are unsure of which colour wire is what you will have to trace the colour back to where it goes either by eye or a multimeter. It would be a fair bet that the thickest wire goes to Bat+ then eliminate one at a time.
Best to have and use a multimeter or a test lamp to help find the correct wire.

I guess he has it sorted by now, if not he should give up on electrics.
