Hi,
Would anyone have a wiring diagram for the above dumper or know where I could find one ? I's a 1997 machine with the Perkins Phaser AA series engine.

Wiring for a dumper would be very straight forward especially being diesel. Do you have an issue and if so what it is?

Yes, a starting problem. Gives the impression of a flat battery. Battery is fine, connections cleaned/earth made good. New starter motor fitted. Earth strap between engine & chassis checked & connections cleaned. We're going to change the battery leads/terminals clamps for new ones at the weekend, as although they appear okay, they're very old. Wondering if there are any relays or other components that could be causing a problem ?

Michael sounds like you are heading in the right direction you could have a bad lead so if you have changed both the battery and starter and are confident that they are okay that can only leave a faulty lead or connection. Does it start okay if you short out the starter motor?

Hi,
Battery has not been changed so that still might be your problem, a dead cell. Sits there and holds 13V + but put it under load and it shits itself. Try a jump starter battery along with your existing battery. If it does start then, you need another battery. You have been going down all the right paths to resolve the problem but I would have tried the battery first especially as you are now coming into cold weather. Old batteries don't like the cold, like me.
