Thanks Guy's..... a lot of money spent on it now as even though it didn't look too bad originally, everything was completely worn out and in some case's gunthered to keep it going..... will post more pictures later on!

Does anyone know by any chance the thread size of the wheel nut... I need to retap some of them... I thought it looked like 9/16 UNF but it's not... it's definitely 14mm or 9/16 though.... il post picture later.. thanks guys....

I don't suppose you know somebody who works in engineering? If you do ask them if you can borrow their thread gauges both metric and imperial plus a Zeus book, you should be able to identify the thread from that.

I do actually.... il ask him or better still bring him a wheel nut.... its possible it could be an old Whitworth size....
