Shawnee Poole Dumper brakes

Post #1 by Steelfab » Mon Dec 31, 2018 3:28 am

I am part way through the restoration of an early 1960's Shawnee Poole dumper truck and trying to find out what brakes and wheel hubs were fitted as Im sure they would be common to old commercial and military vehicles of that time?

Replacement wheel studs and nuts are needed as well as brake shoes and brake return springs.

Any help be grateful

Regards

A picture does help to identify what you are looking for.
Most likely a Girlock or Girling brake system found on many English vehicles from mini to MG so try comparing those for a start.
