Benford TT50

Post #1 by vijay » Tue Feb 07, 2017 10:54 pm

Hi,

I've just bought a 1978 Benford TT50 dumper with a Lister 3 cylinder engine. I've downloaded the handbook but I just wondered if the oils listed in there are still the ones to use?

It says engine oil is 20w/20 and hydraulic fluid is either 20w mineral or Shell Tellus 37.

Thanks for any help to a complete newbie :)

Vijay

Hi Vijay welcome to CMN  the oils or their equivalents should be available I would contact a reputable oil supplier and ask their advice, once you have a modern equivalent then you can price other oils with the same spec.

Hi Jeremy,

Thank you :) I called Smith and Allan who had the spec I posted, so it's ordered now :)
