Re: My New Winget Dumper
After communication with Winget in the U.K it has been established (From the engine number) that this is a Winget 2ST Serial No.973 Manufactured on 24/05/1975 and was shipped to New Zealand for Winstone Aggregates!
I have to say that Steve Hodge (Joint M.D) from Winget was so helpful with retrieving this information from the company records!!

Winget are part of the Seddon construction group, They have a website where you can find most of the old manuals online under the Parts and service section!

Re: My New Winget Dumper
I think sub section 12 is the most helpful, as I am sure other brand of dumpers will have used the same parts ( Transmission, axles, control valves, gearbox etc)? There are also some Lister Petter workshop manuals and Villiers Parts and operators manuals available under the relevant sub sections.........what I am trying to say is don't be put off because it is from the Winget site, Loads of useful info!!!!!!
