Were these the first articulated dumpers ?
Love the artwork on that advert.

The artwork is excellent. They are one heavy brute of a machine to steer !

Great to see another one saved .
Curious as to why you have been searching for one of these rather obscure dumpers ?

So I’ve made a start on this project . Just rebuilt the engine . Hope to get it sprayed over the weekend . Couple of things on my mind . Anyone ever heard of a throttle controlled with your knee on one of these ? Also I’m missing a seat . Standard metal seat pan or something different fitted to these ?

Seat pans for vintage tractors are readily available if that is the style you need. By the way, I think it is good to be different and is why we ended up with a Liner roughrider dumper, not many of them at rallies.

A lot of ag tractors in the 40s had similar closed tread bars. I guess the open tread we see today was found to be more effective especially for self cleaning.
