Joe ...
Hillhead 2012
Gents just a quick note here; I attended the show today and bumped into Paul Argent  I also now intend going tomorrow so if we all want to meet up I would suggest that we meet by the Cat 6030 say at 1:00 that gives everybody a chance to have a good look round first.

Yes Joe the 6030 did have Bucyrus on the monitor in the cab and also on some of the hydraulic hoses too but the biggest give away was the chassis plate with the serial number on it. :ugeek:

Haha still laugh to myself now lol! No doubt it will change in time I just like the idea that cat are proudly displaying "their all new shovels" and they still have bucyrus emblazoned all over it!

A few from me. (I dident see any of the gang off here either) :o

Joe - Just think of the time and money to scrap all the stock of parts and re make them with CAT on them that were already in the system. I bet they still said O&K on when they became Terex.

I no what your saying bout scrapping them but I'd have thought the obvious thinks such as the I'd plate and monitor would have been changed to cat! And anyway the tags on the boom will be covered in grease and muck in no time anyway lol
