Was he just getting to know the rb. I watched him for quite a while, chap with big beard.
I had a go on one at thelkfield museum many years a go. By god its not like operating a hydraulic machine

The chap with the beard was the owner of the RB, a nice bloke too, the machine had been stood for a while so I think some of the clutches were sticking a bit, yes indeed they are nothing like a hydraulic machine to operate, I once had a small supervised go on one myself, long forgotten the controls now but as I recall they need additional skill to operate, suppose once you get used to them they are like anything else, just take a bit more learning.

I saw the bearded driver in the bar the night before. He had a shirt on saying something about classic plant operations?
