Blessed with sun most of the day as well .
I never realised Jeremy now has FOUR big 360 excavators on the go now , he must have the heart of a lion !
Here are three of them-

I was quite impressed with Andrews new toy a Leyland Martian 6x6 artillery tractor with a proper crew cab !

Interesting bogie arrangement, similar to a Scammell (or was it another marque?).

Yes Pete from the back it could be a Scammell Pioneer.
( Military vehicle anorak warning :D - These trucks were developed specifically for and by the MOD with gas guzzling RR petrol engines at vast taxpayer expense and were not much good and had short service lives . The virtually off the shelf AEC Militants were much better and stayed in service for years . nowt changes !)

This particular Leyland Martian no longer has its gas guzzling RR engine, that was a basket case when Andrew purchased this machine, many were used as recovery wreckers but this one was probably intended to be used as a gun tractor, there is a body for the back of it which has been removed for shot blasting prior to painting; this one is fitted with a modern Volvo turbo diesel engine.

The Martian just needs the 5.5" field gun to go with it. That'd give you some holes to fill in.
