Today I was at the War & Peace show down at Paddock Wood in Kent, and there is allways something worth having a look at.
The Tiger tank in the pictures is actually one of those that appeared in the film "Saving private Ryan" and is in reality a Russian built T34 with a mock up Tiger 1 body work fabricated onto it.
Some of the vehicles and components there were manufactured by famous names like; Caterpillar, Demag, Scammell, Gardner, Hanomag, Henschel and AEC to name but a few.
Alround a good day out and well worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
I will post more pics as and when I re-size em.

Nice pics , went a few years ago,its a great show,enormous.
Have you heard the government tried to stop all the UK enthusiasts preserved military vehicles going to the D DAY commemorations because of a law banning export of military equipment without licence.

Somehow that does not surprise me at all Craig, the pics I posted of the Scammell Pioneer in the Heavy Haulage topic did attend those commemorations as I would expect did some of the vehicles here.
