Foden in trouble

This Foden lost part of its load at George Town, Merthyr Tydfil in 1969, leaving a trail of distruction behind it. :doh: (Click on pic.to see)
Luckily no one was hurt. :o
I bet the driver and haulage contractor were in deep s--t. :oops: :oops:

Nice picture. I bet the driver didn't take it he was probably long gone. The sort of thing you'd see on the front page of the Merthyr News! :doh:

Here are a couple more slips from the i950's/60's in Merthyr.
BRS> Square Nose Bedford missed a gear on Dowlais Hill.
