I have always wondered how it is possible to do something like that? I have seen pics of much larger trucks upside down aswell and I find it very strange that it is possible to succeed with something like that?

The 773 was going up a narrow ramp when it decided to have a lie down. As for the 777, we had several days of hard and heavy rain (nothing new for the UK) this truck was one of the first up onto the dump on the Monday morning, as he backed up to the edge to tip, the tip gaveway and the machine slid, then flipped over onto its back.
After rolling the truck back over, refilling the engine with oil, checking a few main and big end bearings for signs of oil starvation, changing the batterys she started up! never lost the oil in the hyd & transmission tanks and still had a rad full of water!
Changed the cab and out she went back to work.
