They had a couple of RH 40's or 30's up on a big road job in Scotland during 1992.They were good machines. They also had a very nice Cat 14G grader doing the haul roads.
I think this is one of their Leihberrs?

I know a few of Simsy's ex operators Like Andy Peters, Russell Shaw, Alex Jobe and Stevie Drew amongst others that worked for Alex over the years. .I think Russell's dad was the Ganger for the firm.

Tracshovel,it's Levacks D9L.also in the pic is Stokey's D9N,one of my D8H's and a D7H of W.M.Dow.
Fenton had a D10N on this job also.
just remembered the 952 in the pic was A.C.Makay's from Nairne way and not Simm's.Gillespie's also had some 962 and 974 big Liehberrs and some Cat 245's on this job too
