Hi Adam welcome to the site  I would imagine that the seal would be available from any bearing stockist at a reasonable price, just take the old sample along try not to damage it too much when you take it out, alternatively if you have a vernier caliper measure the internal diameter of where the seal fits and the diameter of the piston plus the depth of where it fits and again the bearing stockist should be able to provide a seal for you.

Ive over tightened one track on my 805B. I assumed there would be a releif nut but I'm unable to find one. Is there one and if so can anyone tell where it may be?

I still have a track that's too tight. I have removed the nipple on a number of occasions and it makes no difference.

Sounds like the tensioner is just stuck. Is the nipple screwed into a larger bung that you could also remove? Then give the idler a good shove with a 3D! Seem to remember removing the above setup on the 805 I used to have and the grease came out easily. Think the same undercarriage was used from the early 805 to the 'B'?

Always take care when removing bungs or grease nipples under pressure; grease injection can occur a friend of mine lost two fingers because of this. :arrrrgh:

I would avoid taking out the grease nipple. it should be screwed into a bigger fitting which will usually have a track cut in it to alow grease to bleed out when slacked off.

TullyveeryClassicJCB, it sounds like the shaft in the centre of the track adjuster has broken and the spring has expanded inside.
